The Moves are a thrilling three-piece band from Coventry, guaranteed to rock any wedding. Along with pounding beats, driving bass and heart-racing guitar solos, each member of the band sings to pack a real punch. The Moves pride themselves on not only their musical ability but their professionalism and commitment to making any client’s special day that extra bit special – and with experience of having performed at over 30 wedding events they know just what it needed to ensure that your guests have a fantastic night.

As a Wedding Band:

The Moves are the perfect band to get the party started. They bring dynamism and drive to any wedding, their high-octane performances and popular setlist ensuring that the dance floor will stay full all night long. They are also happy to cater to a couple’s first dance requests as standard, moving from romantic request to rock and roll in a heartbeat.

The group provide a powerful PA system (fully PAT-tested and with Public Liability Insurance) available for indoor venues that cater for up to 250 guests, and can be used for outdoor venues for up to 150 guests (please note that outdoor sets will require use of shelter in case of adverse weather to protect the band’s equipment).

The Moves are much more than just a rock band. Their unique blend of vocals and their energetic live performances mean that they can turn their hands to a whole host of tracks. As well as classic rock and modern indie, the band’s repertoire draws on modern pop, huge hits from the 80’s and 90’s and timeless tracks from the 60’s and 70’s. Guests of all ages can be sure they will be getting up and singing along to the songs they love.

The full repertoire takes in the finest floor-fillers from recent times, including Use Somebody (Kings of Leon), Chelsea Dagger (The Fratellis) and Hey Ya! (Outkast). Their hits from the 80’s and 90’s include Parklife (Blur), Summer of 69 (Bryan Adams) and Kiss (Prince). The Moves also ensure the classics are covered, with tracks like Don’t Stop Me Now (Queen), Satisfaction (Rolling Stones) and I Saw Her Standing There (The Beatles).
