Bird & The Bad Man are a hugely popular and vastly experienced acoustic duo for hire in Leicestershire. Sarah Bird’s soaring vocals are matched with David Gardiner’s elegant acoustic guitar, creating the perfect atmosphere for your big day. With a real attention to detail and hundreds of weddings already behind them, Bird & The Bad Man move effortlessly between contemporary and classic songs and in their own words – “we put our heart and soul into every performance.”

As a Wedding Band:

Bird & The Bad Man are extremely versatile and they are just as at home in a lively evening set as they are playing a relaxed afternoon reception. Their varied repertoire (see example set lists and full repertoire below) ensures the ideal music for all occasions. Timeless love songs for the ceremony, soul classics for afternoon drinks or contemporary pop for an evening are all offered, and evening performances are backed up with percussion and live loops to get the dance floor filled. Bird & The Bad Man will also play a couple’s first dance song as standard, and will accept requests to learn other additional songs for the set at a small additional fee. They take great pride not only in their ability to perform but in their contact with clients, ensuring a uniquely personal and professional experience.

The group provide their own powerful PA system (fully PAT-tested and with Public Liability Insurance) that is available for crowds of up to 500. Their system can be used to perform both indoors and outdoors (although outdoor performances will require some adequate form of shelter in case of adverse weather to protect equipment).

“You were truly exceptional and so many people have commented on how amazing you were. You really lifted our wedding day to heights we could only dream of and we are so grateful to you both. Thank you so much. You really both were fantastic. If I didn’t have so many guests and people to see to during the evening, I would have been quite happy just to sit in front of you all night and just marvel at how amazingly talented you both are! I really hope I get the chance to see you perform again when I can just devote all my full attention to you. I’ll be recommending you to everyone I know!” – Arvi & Rachael, Wedding, January 2016

Bird & The Bad Man have a list of songs that covers countless genres and styles. “As soon as we came out for drinks the music started and was absolutely amazing (we had booked for music in the daytime as well as the evening). We then had our wedding breakfast and we were onto the evening entertainment. I had asked for more upbeat songs to be sang and played on the night time and they didn’t disappoint, everyone was up dancing and really enjoyed the whole evening. I have had so many comments since the wedding about how amazing Bird & The Bad Man were. They really made a difference on our wedding day and I can’t thank them enough. If you’re undecided on who to book for your wedding you don’t need to look any further than these two they really are out of this world.” – Michelle & Craig, Wedding, August 2015
